This form is for people who are interested in volunteering at the March to End Fossil Fuels on September 17th in New York City. If you will not be at the march on Sept 17th, please consider donating or making phone calls to recruit others to join the march. 

A large march like this requires a lot of volunteers to make sure everything goes smoothly. Each role requires different skills and abilities, but they are all necessary and valuable. Please read the descriptions and instructions carefully to help us put you in the best role. Thank you for volunteering!

I can do this on Sept 17th.
I have done this before.
Marshalls: keep the march on pace, identify problems for staff (10am - 4pm)
Bus and train greeters: direct people and buses as they arrive (10am - 2pm)
March and rally clean up: most likely will miss the march (10am - 3pm)
Art distribution: pass out posters, hold banners (10am - 2pm)
Health & safety: carry food, water, and basic supplies for non-emergencies. (10am - 4pm)
Please give us a sense of your physical abilities. Everyone is welcome, but some roles require walking, standing, or lifting. Share anything you think we should know! *
Could you attend an evening Zoom call the week prior to September 17th? Not required, but helpful.  *
